Charlotte, NC: Spangler Restoration is proud to announce the promotion of Bob Goodloe from Director of Emergency Restoration Services (ERS) – Charlotte to Vice President of Mitigation, overseeing mitigation operations across the entire company.

This promotion reflects Bob’s outstanding performance, leadership growth, large loss capabilities, and operational impact throughout 2025, as well as Spangler Restoration’s continued commitment to building best-in-class leadership to support scalable growth across North and South Carolina.

In his new role, Bob will lead mitigation strategy, large loss program, and execution across all four Spangler regions while expanding and strengthening the strategic relationships he has built in the Charlotte market throughout the Carolinas. His ability to align field execution with client expectations will be instrumental in delivering consistent, high-quality emergency response services across markets.

Bob has over a decade of hands-on experience and leadership in emergency restoration services, with deep expertise in large-loss water, mold, fire, and biohazard mitigation. He currently leads nearly 35 team members in the Charlotte region and is widely known for his problem-solving mindset, decisive leadership, and get-it-done approach, earning trust from clients and teammates alike while navigating complex restoration challenges under pressure.

Bob joined Spangler Restoration in 2015 as a Lead Technician and quickly advanced through the organization, serving as Structure Project Manager, Mitigation Manager, and Director of ERS. His leadership has been instrumental in scaling Spangler’s emergency response capabilities, improving operational readiness, and supporting multifamily and commercial clients with fast, reliable, and tailored solutions. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Bob’s field expertise and strategic insight have played a key role in the company’s continued growth and success.

Bob holds numerous industry certifications, including IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WTR), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), Fire and Smoke Restoration (FRT), Mold Remediation (AMRT), Health and Safety (HST), Odor Control (OCT), and Carpet Cleaning (CCT), along with Journeyman Water Restorer status. He is also a Certified Healthcare Remediator Supervisor (CCHR-S) and Technician (CCHR-T) through CICTI; EPA Lead-Safe Certified; and a recognized expert in Xactimate estimating software along with Time & Material.

Bob’s leadership is defined by accountability, technical excellence, and a deep commitment to supporting his teams, clients, and the communities Spangler serves through every phase of restoration.
