Bob has over a decade of hands-on experience and leadership in emergency restoration services, with deep expertise in water, mold, and biohazard mitigation. He currently serves as the Director of ERS at Spangler Restoration, where he leads nearly 35 team members across the Charlotte region in responding to a wide range of emergency losses. Known for his problem-solving capabilities and get-it-done approach, Bob has earned a strong reputation for delivering results under pressure and navigating complex restoration challenges with confidence.

Since joining Spangler Restoration in 2015 as a Lead Technician, Bob has quickly advanced through the ranks—serving as Structure Project Manager, Mitigation Manager, and now Director. His impact has been instrumental in scaling the company’s emergency response capabilities and strengthening operational readiness. Bob works directly with our multifamily and commercial clients, ensuring fast, reliable solutions tailored to their unique needs and property complexities. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, his field expertise and strategic insight have been invaluable to the company’s continued growth and success.

Bob holds numerous IICRC certifications including WTR (Water Damage Restoration), ASD (Applied Structural Drying), FRT (Fire and Smoke Restoration), AMRT (Mold Remediation), HST (Health and Safety), OCT (Odor Control), and CCT (Carpet Cleaning), and has achieved Journeyman Water Restorer status. He is also a Certified Healthcare Remediator Supervisor (CCHR-S) and Technician (CCHR-T) through CICTI, EPA Lead-Safe Certified, and a recognized expert in Xactimate estimating software.

Before joining Spangler, Bob served as a Restoration Project Manager with PuroClean, where he was deployed to Hurricane Sandy and successfully restored more than 40 storm-damaged properties. His early education at Western Carolina University and CPCC provided a foundation for his general studies before launching into the restoration field full-time.
