Josh is the Owner and CEO of Spangler Restoration. 

As a fourth-generation homebuilder and contractor, Josh grew up immersed in construction, developing hands-on skills and a deep respect for craftsmanship at an early age. He earned a degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from North Carolina State University and went on to build a successful career with NVR Inc./Ryan Homes in the Charlotte area. During his 8½-year tenure, Josh rose from Project Manager to Customer Service Manager, earning the company’s highest honor of Master Builder through consistent excellence in customer satisfaction, cost control, and production volume.

In 2009, Josh founded Spangler Restoration with a clear mission: to deliver high-quality, dependable disaster recovery services through a team of highly trained professionals. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a trusted restoration provider across multiple markets along I40 & I85 corridor, known for its operational excellence, culture of integrity, Insurance friendly, and customer-first approach.

Josh holds active North Carolina Unlimited General Contractor Licenses (#68983, #69204) and a South Carolina General Contractor License (Group 4, #G118824). He is also IICRC-certified in Water Damage Restoration, Fire and Smoke Restoration, and Odor Control.

With over two decades of construction and restoration experience, and as a visionary Josh continues to guide Spangler—ensuring it remains a leader in restoration by focusing on people, process, and performance.
